GoPro Fusion 360 degree

GoPro Fusion 360 degree is an interesting option when it comes 360 degree cameras. The camera comes with a tripod and possesses a compact square body. It can record 5.2k videos @ 30fps and 3k videos @ 60fps while, when it comes to images, it can capture 18 MP images. The camera makes use of GoPro’s “Overcapture” feature which can extract conventional segments of videos from a 360 degree video.

In terms of performance, video recording outperforms the competition. The exposure is well-controlled in bright environments and results remained good in low-light conditions as well. Furthermore, additional features, such as stabilization and time-lapse, helps in making subtle improvements in the video quality and adds to the versatility of the camera. The camera is waterproof for up to 16 feet of water and battery life is quite reasonable as well.

The GoPro Fusion 360 degree also has potential to be better than the rest in the domain of software. As it stands, there is no built-in feature to extract regular videos from spherical content. This means tedious work on computer to find the necessary shot. That being said, GoPro has this feature available on other cameras and could be rectified through a firmware update. Moreover, the GoPro app is user friendly and adds value to the camera. Since the camera does not have a screen, the app can be used to view a live camera feed. Overall, the app comes with various interesting features that can be used for creative purposes.
